Room Renovation

So this weekend began our Pepto Bismol guest bedroom renovation!  We hope to have this two-toned pink nightmare in our past in just a few short weeks, and Gia's Nursery coming together in it's place!  This weekend, we broke down the bed and furniture and packed it away.  Then, we picked up our rocking chair/glider and dresser for her room and Daniel began the daunting task of putting the furniture together!!!

The rocker/glider was a breeze, but the dresser was a little more time consuming, so he will be going back for round two this week!  I painted a few samples of the grayish-lavender color scheme on the wall that we have chosen for her room (btdub---all colors look like crap next to the blush and bashful color scheme in the room now!). 

Gia's bedding and crib will be arriving in the next few days as well, so hopefully we will have really made a dent in the room renovation at the Allegri household by next week.  Miss Gia---we sure do hope you will like coming to your newly renovated nursery!  Here is some of the BEFORE pictures!  I will try to take some pictures of Daddy working hard for his daughter too! :)
